Kevin Ayres is one of the most genuine, ,honest, responsive, responsible and reasonably priced, licensed electricians in the industry. He's also a gentleman and a very thoughtful and intelligent guy. I decided to install a mini-split system in my sunroom myself after receiving very exorbitant price quotes from brand name HVAC contractors to do that work. I was able to do the install in my township because of the refrigerant (R-410-A) used in the mini-split. However, I couldn't do the electrical work because a licensed electrician was required. So, I had an electrician come over that I'd seen doing work in the neighborhood. But, his price was too high. So, I began searching for other electricians. After reading reviews, I decided to call Kevin. Lucky me. As soon as he came over and discussed the work and gave me a price, I called him back and said, okay, I'd like you to do the electrical work for me. Three days later, Kevin was running 90+ feet of conduit from the panel to a disconnect box outside the house and then to the mini-split's condenser. As soon as he was done, he filled out and stamped the electrician's permit form that had to be submitted to the township. Kevin knows the National Electrical Code and what Township inspectors will be looking for, as well. The mini-split now works as it was designed to do. The benefit of all this is that I now have a four seasons sunroom that also adds the square footage of the sunroom to my house. Moreover, I met an electrician that I will be confident in calling for any and all electrical issues that come up in the future.

We had Kevin come over to install an interlock plate for a new portable generator we purchased. This was a bit complex as we have a main electrical panel and subpanel. The installation was completed on time and on budget. Kevin took the time to explain everything thoroughly and do a run through with us regarding the generator and How to use the interlock plate to shut the main power and turn on the generator breaker. In fact, when we tried it ourselves the first time we had problems. I could not get it to work. I called up Kevin on a Friday night at 6 o’clock and he told me he would be there within the hour. He quickly pointed out our error. We felt rather badly and so when I offered to Compensate him for his time. he refused to take additional payment. We now have a new electrician and recommend him highly.

Working with Ayres Electric and Kevin was fantastic! He installed a bathroom fan, a new ceiling fixture, and a dimmer switch. He also went above and beyond to repair the fan ducting which had been damaged previously to ensure that everything worked properly. Would highly recommend if you are looking for quality work at a reasonable price!

Ayres Electrical Services was a referral given to me from another service professional. It was obvious that Kevin is a well respected professional in the business. I needed a quote for an electrical panel upgrade. Kevin was prompt in contacting me and setting up an appointment. He looked at the project, explained what was needed and provided a reasonable quote. Kevin worked with me to find a date to complete the project. Kevin completed the project perfectly and on time. Kevin is a true professional and gave me peace of mind knowing that the project was done to specifications. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend Ayres Electrical to any home or business that wants a project done well and professionally!!!

Kevin has come out and done work for us now on several occasions. We needed to upgrade our electrical panel for our older home. He came out, gave us a quote and a few options that we had. His price was very reasonable and he was extremely knowledge. They came out and did the work soon after and we are so grateful for the work that they have done. We needed an emergency switch installed and they were able to come out right away to install it. We are more than pleased with their work and highly recommend using them for any and all of your electrical needs! Thanks again!!

Our poorly lit house was in desperate need of recessed lighting. I heard about Kevin from a coworker and I am beyond thankful that we have him as our go to electrician now. He and his son installed 40 recessed lights throughout our house at an excellent price. He was patient, answered all of our questions, made honest recommendations based on our needs, and never once did he try to "sell" us on anything extra. He was respectful of our home during the work and got along great with our dogs who like to be a nuisance when strangers are around. We also had some poorly done wiring which complicated some of the work but he stuck to the agreed upon price anyway. We couldn't be happier and the new lighting is really going to boost our quality of life. We may need a new main panel in the future and we will definitely be giving Kevin a call when that time comes.
